Hi All,

So the 2013/2014 Season is almost upon us so I hope you all had a great break and captured some fantastic images ready now for the new season of fun and competitions!

The first meeting of the season will kick off at 8.30pm Sharp on Tuesday 10th September in our usual meeting place of Connors Pub in Dunleer.
As usual, the first meeting will be predominantly to welcome new members and also to set out the agenda for the club for between September to Christmas. This is always a good night to have your opinions heard about what you think we should cover for the year so that we can do our best to include the needs of all of our members and all of the varying skill levels and interests of our members.

There has also been a big interest this year from photographers hoping to join our club and so hopefully this may add to the diversity of images our little club can produce and help bump us up a little in next years National Club Finals.

Last year we had some fantastic speakers come to visit us we hope to keep that standard up again this year so stay tuned for some not to be missed evenings in the club!

Lastly, we had some small changes to the Committee after the AGM last year and I would like to thank our outgoing Chairman for the last 3 seasons, Noel Marry for the massive effort he put in over the years he was in charge and I’m sure he will continue to have a great influence on us as a club.
And now to this years new Chairman , Richard Hatch who will be ably assisted by Teddy Caffrey for the coming season.  Richard as you all know has been heavily involved in the organisation of the Baroque Festival exhibition and so I’m sure as Chairman, this will be the first of may duties that he will co-ordinate in the clubs behalf.
