Hi All,

This week we had Roisin and Derek giving us a look at their work and what they get up to with their cameras.
Roisin is only new to the club this year and so it was great to see the enthusiasm from new members right from the start of the season. Hopefully we will see alot more of her work as the year goes on.
Derek also gave us a great insight into his commercial photography as well as a wee video to accompany it to show us all exactly what he gets up to in the studio.

Next week we have a club outing to Monasterboice Graveyard where we will do some painting with light and some twilight photography. For new members this is a great chance to pick up a few tips from other members as a great excuse to get out and shoot something that you may not have done before.
In order to make the most of the evening and also of the light, I would advise members to try arrive around 7.30pm or as close to as you can. No doubt there will be alot of us there until quite late so there is no pressure on anyone to be there for 7.30pm.
I would advise people to dress appropriately as we dont know yet what the weather will be like to be sure to wrap up well if it is cold! If the weather is too wet for the outing, we will meet as normal at 8.30pm in Dunleer.
